Grr.. I'm trying to put up a test page for the bizmail script but my ghey web host who claims to be 99.9% up guaranteed is down. I'll check every hour and post the URL here once its back up again.

Thanx a whole heap Seth.

The site is:
www.e-skydesign.com/enquiriesTest.php
Now it doesnt even send the e-mail >.<
but it seems as though its sending.
and sometimes in the success page {firstname} isnt taken. (i now have changed the successpage to exclude firstname)

It seems as if your server is having issues. It seems like it is running very slow. You may want to think about a new hosting provider (just a side note).

As for the problem, I tested your form, and no I did not get the auto-response email back to myself, so I'm guessing that probably SMTP is not working. Also have you checked to see if data was written to your data file?

I would check with your hosting provider on the SMTP problem.

Thanx Seth.. I think the hosting IS having a problem... >.< ..

Hey is it possible to use my ISP's SMTP first for now? but it needs network password, is there anywhere on the cgi where I can add the username and password for the smtp?

BTW at www.e-skydesign.com/enquiries.php I used the novice.cgi and it works. using the host's smtp... which is what I used in www.e-skydesign.com/enquiriesTest.php as well ... weird huh >.<

Thanx for the help Seth, appreciate it a lot =).

Well ushualy if you use your ISP's smtp server it will not work. They ushualy have it setup to only work for local domains. And no there is no place to put the username or password for it.
