  Subject: Blank Error Page

Hi
I have set up your script and at the moment I am using all your files. I have made some slight cosmetic changes to the success page and altered the email destinations etc. Other than this they are your files as supplied.

My problem is that the script works fine when the fields are filled in but when I leave off a required field the script directs me to a blank page (the error.html page I am assuming).
Do I need to put an absolute path to the error.html page in the script or am I missing something glaringly obvious.
Thanks for any help forthcoming.

Yes, you may need to put in the full path to error.html, but it must be the full server path. If that does not work let me know.

Hi Seth
My colleagues (who are more savvy at this than me) suggested changing the path to 'error html' to the following but it is still not working:

$MY_error_page = $ENV{'SITE_CGIROOT'}."/error.html";

Sorry to persist but have you any further suggestions?

Seth
Have tried the following settings but still no luck:

#----- U S E P E R S O N A L I Z E D E R R O R F O R M P A G E -----#

## set $use_html_error = "2"; to not use the personalized html form error page template ##
## (DEFAULT) set $use_html_error = "1"; to use the personalized html form error page template ##

$use_html_error = "1";

$HTML_error_page{"1"} = "/var/www/html/formerror.html";
$HTML_error_page{"2"} = "";
$HTML_error_page{"3"} = "";
$HTML_error_page{"4"} = "";
$HTML_error_page{"5"} = "";

#----- D E F A U L T H T M L E R O R P A G E T E M P L A T E -----#

$MY_error_page = "/var/www/cgi-bin/error.html"; # HTML error page you configured ##

Could be a server config problem. Sometimes windows does not work with features like that.
