  Subject: I can't receive the data without filling up the email field.

hi, bizmail is really great from all the other scripts I have used.
I have a problem still. I have set up my form nicely, but it seems that I can only get the data only if the user fill in the email field. I did not set the required field at all! I receive the success page on both senarios, with or without email field filled.

These are the hidden fields I used:
<input name="subject" type="hidden" id="subject" value="Contact Form">
<input name="send_to" type=hidden value="1">
<input name="data_format" type="hidden" id="data_format" value=",">
<input name="text_qualifier" type="hidden" id="text_qualifier" value="1">
<input name="success_page" type="hidden" id="success_page" value="http://www.crushedpaper.com/cgi-bin/success.cgi?p=1">
<input name="sendreply" type="hidden" id="sendreply" value="0">

Please help.
Thanks

I believe it is this way because when you get the e-mail you will see that in the from address is the e-mail that was input into your form. So the form needs that input to send out the proper e-mail to you. Plus it probably a good idea to have the email field in case you want to contact the person back by email. If you don't want to send an autoresponse then in your form put <input type="hidden" name="sendreply" value="0"> Sorry that this does not help you much.

Yeah, I think this is a server configuration isue. Simply put your server does not accept mail from a NULL email, which most do. I will add a new feature in the next version that will allow you to specify the from... With the amount of new isues the new release should come soon....

I have been using the script for quite some time and it works well but this issue has become a killer. I need to bring up (very quickly) several forms on our website that must email results and there will not be an email field or it may be blank.

Any suggestions on how one might fix the script to stop this behavior. Most others seem to overcome this problem.
