  Subject: Checkboxes not working in Email

Hi Seth,

I am using Bizmail a lot on our website. Many thanks for a great code.

I've just come across a problem.

I have a form at http://www.bebusinesswise.co.uk/test/receiving_feedback_questionnaire.html which contains 40 checkboxes.

The data email gives the correct information but the "sendreply" email doesn't contain the correct data.

I have used
<input type="hidden" name="N1" value="No">

and

<input type="checkbox" name="N1" id="N1" value="Yes">

so that when the checkbox is checked the value should be "Yes". If the checkbox isn't checked the value should be "No"

The information in the "data" email is correct. The data in the "sendreply" email is always "No" even when the checkbox is checked.

What is really frustrating is that I have had it working OK as I was developing the form but now I can't get it to work.

I'd be grateful for any suggestions.

Best wishes

Ian

Dear Seth,

Apologies - I inadvertantly overwrote the form with a "solution"

I have put the <input type="hidden" name="N1" value="No"> on the line below the <input type="checkbox" name="N1" id="N1" value="Yes"> so the "sendreply" email is now correct. However the data email is incorrect but, as I am not collecting the data, it doesn't matter.

It would, however, be nice to get it working properly if possible?

Best wishes

Ian

1. Put the hidden field first, and then the checkbox field.

If that does not work, I would just use a select box.

Seth
